This is more of an assembly than a make. But sometimes I just want some delicious junk food.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- One frozen vegan chicken burger (ie Fry’s)
- One portion frozen chips
- One burger bun
- A few slices vegan cheese
- Some malt vinegar, salt and pepper.
- A dollop of tomato sauce
- 1 Tbs vegan mayonaise
- 2 leaves spinach
- 2 slices tinned beetroot
- 1/4 fresh tomato, finely sliced
- 1/2 fresh brown cap mushroom, finely sliced
- 1 small picked gerkin, finely sliced
- 1/4 fresh avocado, finely sliced
Method:
- Air fry the burger and the chips according to instructions (ie 180 C for 18 minutes). Set a timer for 2 minutes early.
- Slice the bap in half, add the sliced cheese to the base.
- Very finely slice the tomato, avocado, mushroom, and gerkin, and set aside.
- 2 minutes before the chips and burger are cooked, place the bap (with cheese) into the air frier, and air-fry for 2 more minutes.
- Plate the hot chips first, and spray with malt vinegar, and sprinkle with freshly ground salt and pepper. Then the dollop of tomato sauce to one side.
- Place the lower cheese’d bap on the chips plate, add the fricken (fake chicken) burger first, then the mayo, spinach, and all the other remaining sliced ingredients in a carefully balanced tower.
- Top the burger tower with the other half of the bap. Squish down between both hands to nom.
